Spots reappear in the same place after cleaning
for two reasons.
- They were never thoroughly removed in the
first place and the soaps used and/or the uncleaned sticky substance
collects more dirt; or
- The unwanted material is forced down below
the surface of the carpet by a high pressure steam cleaning unit -
only to "wick" back up as the carpet dries.
